Walking the path together
Hello, my name is Kristen Theis and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I specialize in trauma and trauma-based therapy modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization/Reprocessing), TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Biofeedback, and LLLT (Low-Level Laser Therapy). After a traumatic event, we are often disconnected from ourselves and others, which makes healing very challenging and isolating. At HELLO LOVE Counseling, we walk this path together. We establish and enhance feelings of safety and move at a pace that is conducive and comfortable for processing difficult emotions, thoughts, and beliefs, all the while moving toward empowerment and reconnection to the self and others. I work with children (7+), adolescents, and adults.
